The Nottinghamshire-based cold pressed rapeseed oil producer, Borderfields, unveiled their brand-new wrapped lorries to raise further awareness about their partnership with the British Heart Foundation (BHF).
To celebrate and create further awareness of the partnership, Borderfields have released their fleet of new BHF co-branded lorries into national circulation, transporting our jointly branded bottles to large and small retailers around the UK. The 6 new DAF CF 530 Euro Cat 6 lorries and trailers are now on the road delivering our great range of products across the UK. The trailers are designed to highlight the Borderfields – British Heart Foundation partnership and raise further awareness and money to help fund the life changing research.
The design includes the British Heart Foundation logo as well as the characters from the current Borderfields 500ml cold pressed rapeseed oil bottle. Standing at 2 metres high the imagery is certain to catch the eye with a clear message and reminder on the back of the lorries of how to help us raise money.
Raising vital funds for the BHF, Borderfields launched their-jointly branded bottle in February 2019 to be sold across supermarkets in England and Scotland. More than 7 million people are living with heart and circulatory diseases in the UK today. That’s why Borderfields are working hard to support the partnership by donating 10p from every ‘red-top’ co-branded bottle to secure their target of £50,000 which will help to fund the charity’s life-saving research.
Paul Davies, Head of Corporate Partnerships at the BHF said, “Heart and circulatory disease kills around 150,000 people each year in the UK – that’s one person every three minutes. We urgently need to fund more research to help end this heartbreak and save lives. So we’re absolutely delighted to have been chosen as Borderfields charity partner and to see the co-branded bottles of Borderfields oil on supermarket shelves. It’s thanks to the support of companies like Borderfields that we can fund life-saving research to help the seven million people in the UK living with heart and circulatory diseases.”
Director at Borderfields, Paul Davenport adds “We are hoping to promote the switch from saturated fats, like butter, lard and palm oil and coconut oil, to unsaturated fats, like rapeseed oil, which can help to lower the non-HDL, or ‘bad’ cholesterol that is linked to an increased risk of heart and circulatory diseases.”
