We’re absolutely delighted to announce that Borderfields has been named as the BHF Charity Partner of the Year.

What is usually a black-tie event that has previously taken the stage at Shakespeare’s Globe, this year’s event BHF Heart Heros event was transformed into a star-studded virtual ceremony which was hosted by television presenter Vernon Kay.

The event was attended by such celebrities as Gary Cahill, David Ginola, Graeme Souness, the Mac Twins, Chessie King and Olivia Arben, all presenting awards to the evening’s winners. There were also performances from the likes of Ella Henderson and Luke Pritchard from The Kooks.

Our bright, jointly-branded bottles with the BHF were sold across supermarkets in the UK from February 2019, with 10p per bottle sold going towards the charity.

We’re pleased to announce that one year later, together we raised £42,521.40 for the British Heart Foundation, money that will go towards their life-saving work.

Director at Borderfields, Paul Davenport, said: “We’re overjoyed to have been named Charity Partner of the Year at the BHF Heart Hero Awards in 2020. It was great to be recognised for our contribution, along with Travelodge and McCurragh, our competition for the award.

“The BHF’s work helps over seven million people in the UK who live with heart and circulatory diseases, and their research is vital to bettering the lives of those people and their families. We’re incredibly proud to have played even a tiny part in that ongoing commitment.

“We can’t thank everyone enough for helping us to support this charity, and we’re looking forward to supporting more charitable causes in the future.”
