It’s easy to spend the final week of the year eating and drinking far more than you should. Second-helpings of Christmas dinner washed down with mulled wine and a box of chocolates won’t do much towards living a healthier lifestyle.

That’s likely one of the reasons why so many people turn to veganism in the New Year, and hence how Veganuary was born. The month sees big brands launching new vegan alternatives to their usual products. This year, over 250,000 people registered that they were taking part in Veganuary, another year-on-year increase on sign-ups.
